Detailing is a different category from a car wash — paint is treated, corrected and protected, and the interior gets equipment a wash simply doesn't carry. Here's what that means on the day.
Paint decontamination
A proper detail starts with a chemical and mechanical decontamination of the clear coat — pre-wash foam, contact wash, iron-fallout remover for embedded brake dust, and a clay or clay-mitt pass to lift bonded contaminants that washing alone cannot remove.
Machine polishing & paint correction
Light enhancement to soft-touch up swirl marks and wash marring, or a multi-stage correction to remove deeper RIDS, holograms and oxidation. Done with a dual-action polisher, measured passes and a paint-thickness check before any cutting compound touches the panel.
Ceramic & wax protection
A finishing layer that helps water sheet off, makes weekly maintenance dramatically easier and protects the clear coat. From a ceramic spray sealant lasting a few months, to a professional-grade 1–2 year ceramic coating applied after a full prep.
Deep interior detailing
Full vacuum, hot-water extraction on carpets and fabric seats, steam on plastics and headliner, leather clean and condition (re-pigment touch-ups on request), glass, dashboard, vents and a finishing scent. Pet hair, odour treatment and child-seat cleans available as add-ons.
