What proper detailing includes
Detailing is a different category from a car wash — paint is treated, corrected and protected, and the interior gets equipment a wash simply doesn't carry. Here's what that means on the day.
Full paint decontamination
Foam pre-wash, two-bucket contact wash, iron-fallout remover and a clay-mitt pass remove bonded contaminants so the coating bonds to clean clear coat, not to embedded brake dust.
Polish prep
Depending on condition, a single-stage gloss enhancement (light defects) or a stage-one cut and polish (heavier swirls). Paint thickness checked before any compound touches the panel.
Panel-wipe & coating application
Panels are wiped down with a dedicated IPA panel-wipe to strip polishing oils, then the coating is applied panel-by-panel under controlled conditions, flashed and levelled with the right MF cloth for that coating.
Cure & aftercare
The coating needs around 12–24 hours of dry weather to fully cure. You'll get a written aftercare card and a 7-day no-wash guidance, plus a maintenance plan we can book in.

The Signature Detail and Interior Wash are bookable online at fixed prices for a Medium car (Large/SUV +£15). Ceramic coatings and paint correction are quoted after a quick photo inspection — paint condition matters too much to guess.
