Ceramic coating is a protective layer applied over prepared paint. Once cured it leaves a slicker, glossier surface that sheds water and makes routine cleaning easier — which matters in London, where cars sit under trees, beside busy roads and in permit bays for days at a time.
Valetly does not run a workshop. The coating is applied by a vetted independent detailer who comes to your address as part of a detailing appointment, so the paint is corrected and decontaminated first, then coated in the same visit. Book the detail, add the coating at checkout, and you get fixed pricing and before & after photos on the finished car.
Coating suits paint that is already in good condition, or paint that has just been machine-polished. If the car mainly needs a thorough clean rather than protection, a standard package is the better value choice.
